It all began when I was a child, learning to give my grandmother insulin injections and check her blood sugar. That experience sparked something in me—I knew from an early age that I wanted to be part of this world.
But here’s the truth:
pharmacy school doesn’t prepare you for the real challenges of owning a business.
And I learned that the hard way.
Just a few years out of pharmacy school, I jumped into pharmacy ownership—and trust me, it was no walk in the park.
Between PBMs killing my margins and an endless stream of regulations, I had to figure out how to survive, fast. I’ve had highs, like opening my own pharmacy from scratch, and brutal lows, like nearly losing it all to state board drama.
But instead of giving up,
I doubled down.
I started doing things my way—pioneering telepharmacy, pushing boundaries (yeah, I got into trouble), and surviving
in a system rigged against independents.
I started feeling like the “Forrest Gump of Pharmacy” because
I had seen, done, and fought through it all.
That’s why
I’m here now—to take all my hard-won experience and turn it into real, no-BS strategies for pharmacy owners.
